dr. patel understood what my goals were without me having to go through a lot of explanation.. he got that i wanted a "natural outcome". and to that end, the surgery was a total success. i took pictures to other surgeons and they were not interested, and barley glanced at them, but dr. patel ASKED to see pictures of me from the past. in any service profession, the mark of a creative standout practitioner is attention to the individual.

When I look at my before and after pictures, I feel blessed to have found Dr Patel. My before picture shows heavy upper eye lids that appear to make me look sad and older than my age. My lower eye lids were puffy and needed to match my new revised upper lids so naturally I did both. The after picture tells it all... Dr. Patel is worthy of praise. My surgery was remarkable. Very little scaring, healing time is right on with what he told me would happen. Due to several eye surgeries, my right eye lid could barely open. The doctors felt it needed to stay that way to protect my cornea although I had very little eyesight in that eye. Fast forward several years: I had four severe falls with an 8 month period - all falls had been to my right side. The doctor decided it was in my best interest to have Dr. Patel raise that eyelid. He didn't promise a miracle, but he produced one!! Because of his expertise, the eyelid was raised to match the other one. The best part, however, is that because of the surgery, I am able to see more clearly on my right side and have not fallen at all. Dr. Patel is a Miracle Worker!
