But his calming effect took away my stress. I was on the verge of tears when I went to his office, but I left very relieved. Everyone in his office is very nice and helpful. Brilliant, Superb, and a true Artist. After having several failed Ptosis correction failures, finally a doctor who knew what he was doing. After a consultation he was very clear about what to expect. He spend time with me explaining what had gone wrong with my previous surgery and how he could address my concerns.. I am very happy with the results and would recommend him without hesitation. I am a 68 year old energetic and engaging male. I am a very positive person. I Have always been enthusiastic and have never had a poor body image. One year ago Dr Patcl achieved such truly spectacular results with my Wife's facelift, I thought, for the first time ever, "hey, why don't I have a few decades of gravity and sagging and hollowness and bags erased from my face, and why don't I also get a facelift? Well..... The results Dr Patel achieved were beyond any expectations either my wife or I had for the outcome from my surgery! I am so happy that I came to see .Dr. Patel. I have been struggling with issues about my appearance since my accident. I had a doctor that was not giving me the results he was promising. I sought out a second opinion with Dr. Patel. After meeting with him the first time I I knew I was in the right place. He explained to me exactly how he was going to help me and I was very confident in his ability. And he delivered everything and more. I have been so self-conscious about my appearance after enduring many surgeries for facial reconstruction . I felt so embarrassed about my appearance. Dr. Patel was able to go in and put a stent in my eye clean up all the damage and Scar Tissue. Tighten up my eye and my tear duct is now working. My appearance is amazing I feel like I look like me again. And I truly believe he is the best at what he does in the state of Utah. I wish he would have been the first doctor that I encountered after my accident. I don't feel I would have had to gone through so much trauma to get to where I am now. He is very knowledgeable I'm very passionate about his work. And I am so grateful to have such amazing results. After trying a Jones tube three times with no luck I must losing the low vision that I currently have due to the tube not staying in place and it wasn't the right procedure for my trauma. I was referred to Dr Patel by a friend that was seen by him for a similar issue that I was experiencing. I was involved in a car accident, I suffered major face trauma. I had a shattered eye socket and broken nose in 3 places(left and right side and deviated septum). The surgeon I was introduced to did my surgeries, yes surgeries. Over the course of 7months I had undergone 6 surgeries, major to "minor" but still traumatic while trying to heal internally from the accident itself. I also dealt with steroid injections to try to improve the eye damage. At this point I reached out to a plastic surgeon for a second opinion on how to repair my eye lid(from the trauma/surgeries). He would not attempt nor see me for more than just advice, we looked up specialists at the appointment where he had referred me to Dr Patel as well. I finally had enough of being poked and stitched, I decided to take a break. I needed to really think about what I was doing in allowing so many surgeries and having the disappoint of it not working and enduring all the pain. I was than reminded about a specialist in SLC at the Moran Eye center Dr Patel. I waited almost a year before reaching out to Dr Patel's office to schedule a meeting. I had to wait a couple months to be seen, but it was worth it. Within seconds of meeting Dr. Patel, he knew exactly what was needed to fix my eye. I could not believe how fast, he knew what needed to be done. That in itself showed me that I had made the right choice in seeking a new Surgeon/Specialist. With all this being said, I went through with the surgery and here I am 6 weeks later and so much more confident and pleased with my results. He had to do a skin graft to fix it properly. I had a cancerous mole on my lower left eye lid. After the removal of the mole Dr. Patel repair it with skin graft. After a week the dressing was removed it did not look promising but Dr. Patel explain to me how to take care for the following three months. I did exactly what he said and I was happy with the results.
