I am so happy that I came to see .Dr. Patel. I have been struggling with issues about my appearance since my accident. I had a doctor that was not giving me the results he was promising. I sought out a second opinion with Dr. Patel. After meeting with him the first time I I knew I was in the right place. He explained to me exactly how he was going to help me and I was very confident in his ability. And he delivered everything and more. I have been so self-conscious about my appearance after enduring many surgeries for facial reconstruction . I felt so embarrassed about my appearance. Dr. Patel was able to go in and put a stent in my eye clean up all the damage and Scar Tissue. Tighten up my eye and my tear duct is now working. My appearance is amazing I feel like I look like me again. And I truly believe he is the best at what he does in the state of Utah. I wish he would have been the first doctor that I encountered after my accident. I don't feel I would have had to gone through so much trauma to get to where I am now. He is very knowledgeable I'm very passionate about his work. And I am so grateful to have such amazing results. After trying a Jones tube three times with no luck I must losing the low vision that I currently have due to the tube not staying in place and it wasn't the right procedure for my trauma. I've had the privilege of working with Dr. Patel for over a decade. My first experience began after another surgeon botched my enucleation over the course of six disastrous surgeries. After being without an implant for over a year, my socket having contorted, Dr. Patel rebuilt my face and skillfully corrected the damage. My days of wearing dark glasses and avoiding people's gazes were over. My recent surgery was a hammock lift, with particular attention to the area around my prosthesis that had become flaccid over time. Dr. Patel not only performed a beautiful lift but provided additional advanced techniques to achieve the finest aesthetic outcome. His passion for his work and care for his patients are second to none. I trust Dr. Patel's judgement implicitly and know that he will always make the best decisions on my behalf. Dr. Patel has also surrounded himself with a superb team, particularly his right hand, Dena, who assists in making sure that all questions are immediately answered and all issues quickly resolved. With her assistance, Dr. Patel is always available to his patients.

Update: Dr. Patel reached out to me ASAP, to address the issue and has assured me that he will take care of me! He explained in detail the general circumstances surrounding my situation and will be easing my frustrations immediately. He explained just how much the eyelid can change in a matter of extended time, and it has been over 5 years... plus, things are more complicated in my case due to a prosthesis being involved. These are things that have to be taken into account when addressing the aesthetic concerns when doing these types of procedures, and unfortunately I was not fully aware of that. Dr. Patel clearly cares about his patients, as he was available to discuss and clarify all of this with me personally. The original review is below, and was left before I discussed these things with him, and it no longer applies! Original Review: An unfortunate experience, because I now have to redo the ptosis surgery that I had Dr. Patel initially do. I guess I should've trusted someone else in the first place, because my droopy eyelid is still droopy, but hopefully when I get it 'fixed' this time, everything works out for the better... His (as well as his team's) lack of clear instruction and attention did not make this a pleasant experience. They had a nonchalant attitude and hands off approach that left me with more questions than answers.

Dr. Patel is a brilliant surgeon, an artistic prodigy, and a consummate gentleman. I have had two procedures from him and both had excellent results. I recommend him without reservation.

I had a cancerous mole on my lower left eye lid. After the removal of the mole Dr. Patel repair it with skin graft. After a week the dressing was removed it did not look promising but Dr. Patel explain to me how to take care for the following three months. I did exactly what he said and I was happy with the results.

Dr. Patel is a great surgeon and I have felt taken care of throughout this surgery. My friends who know I had eyelid surgery say “Wow”. And my other friends say “You look great” but don’t know what’s different.
